Wavendon. WRNS Garden Fete at Wavendon Manor
(Sometimes called Wavendon House), an Outstation for the Bletchley Park Codebreaking Centre.
Thousands of Women Naval Personnel were stationed in the Area - so far from the sea. They were employed on what was Top Secret activity, as Radio Operators, Morse Code Listeners, Translators Etc Etc. Very Senior Naval Officers attending.
