Bedford. Patriot 4 6 0 Number 5516 The Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment having arrived at Bedford Station at the head of a Troop Train bringing the 2nd Battalion back to Bedford. (The Battalion had returned from Egypt having been away since 1941-taking part in the Western Desert, Tunisian, and Italian Campaigns and the Liberation of Greece-then back to Egypt.)
